Absence is Presence

A Poem By Damaris Ann // 4/29/2019

It’s dark, and
The moon is gone
But pitch black
Lends light to the stars
Just like wind
Makes trees dance

We wouldn’t love warmth
If it was never cold
We’d never be brave
If we didn’t have fears
And we’d never love
If we weren’t scared of being alone

Damaris this is so

Damaris this is so insightful! You are right the very presence of something and the blessing that comes with it is only that way because we've experienced just the opposite. I really like this!

Lovely writing!<3

C.H. Spurgeon - "God’s mercy is so great that you may sooner drain the sea of its water, or deprive the sun of its light, or make space too narrow, than diminish the great mercy of God. "

Thank you so much! You are so

Thank you so much! You are so kind.

I don’t thrive off of chaos: chaos thrives off of me.
