Time Forgets

A Poem By Damaris Ann // 12/30/2014

Our salvation is free: not cheep;
The blood and the water run deep.
Why do I hang my head and cry?
Because for sin did Jesus die.
In Christ we are a sacrifice;
It is His blood that sanctifies.
He has purged away our sin;
In our hearts He entered in.
It was not me that was smote,
Time forgets; please God I won't.

I loved the ending two lines...and now I'm off to listen to the two Yiruma songs you mentioned...

God uses the milestones as stepping stones to bring us closer to Him. We may not see it in the moment, but we can always look back and see the memorials of His love in the crumbles of our stumbling blocks.
