Who am I?

It is not who we are that matters, but rather where we stand. Who we are may change over time, but the ground beneath our feet stays ever the same. The ground I stand upon is the Word of God. I have learned much over this past year, but mostly I have learned about God's power to support and sustain. Moth and rust may destroy, friends may run away, homes may crumble and fall, food may grow scarce, but God is always there. He is my only hope in times of trouble, my only delight in times of joy. He alone can keep me breathing. All he has to do is stop sustaining me, and I will die. There is nothing that I can do to save myself or anyone else. Only God can save. Who am I? It doesn't matter. Let me tell you about my God.
