I'm Easily Embarrassed, but Won't You Talk to Me?

A Poem By Flying Past Clouds // 10/20/2013

I waited for fifteen minutes
And we hardly even made eye contact
But you know what?
I'm not even apologetic.

You laughed at a joke I made
A little later on
And you know what?
That was the best part of my night.

Why is my heart beating so fast?
You're right there and we could talk a bit
Dangit, I blew it, now I'm blushing
Hey, at least there's still tomorrow.

You're the reason I'm smiling
I've turned into an idiot, but that's alright
Maybe one day I'll be your idiot...
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

It's still okay.
I'll see you tomorrow...right?
