“Sit, down Elana.” They told her gently. (Elana, that’s the girl)
“Why do I look so different? I can’t fly, I can’t breathe under water and what are those weird noises outside?” Elana said it all in one breath.
“First of all” a grotto person called Malaine said.” You’re a human.”
Elana gasped. “Which answers almost all your questions.” She continued. “as for the “weird” noises, well, there are Humans out side.
And that is why you can not leave The Grotto. If you come go to close to The Humans you could be…” When she said this she shuddered. “Be transformed.”
