Sunrise Smile

A Poem By Madeline // 1/26/2015

you've got that
something-something
that's undefinable
and undeniable
buoyancy lives
in your smile
pinks and reds and
golds and tans
and rays of purified light
it's mirrored in everyone who sets their sight
on that sunrise
of lifted cheeks and
parted lips
setting off a chain reaction
of crinkled eyes
when
happy slips
and bursts
into a person
and it's you

This is so lovely! I know people like that, so it gave a very specific image.

Wow! I love this, I want to

Wow! I love this, I want to write it down somewhere and read it every day! The wording and imagery was so lovely and magical almost... I felt like it floated. So pretty! :)

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh
