Regret?

A Poem By Kassady // 2/11/2014

You follow close behind my every thought,
Your leather jacket haunting and taunting.
Oh! Maybe if I had really fought,
For that place in your heart I was wanting.
A life without your scent sounds quite daunting,
And without your smile I'll surely perish.
Despite all of my excessive flaunting,
(My smiling mask exceedingly garish)
The thought of you is something I cherish,
Yet something I wish I could let go of.
Somedays I wish my feelings would vanish,
But I'd miss to much chasing after love.
I will miss you but I am relieved too,
Regret? Only that I never kisses you.
