Inspired by LOTR

A Poem By KatieSara // 9/21/2009

Evil brooding
Darkness spreading
Deep foreboding
Of horrors ahead

Armies of darkness being deployed
They march to a haunting rhythym
Confident their plans shall never be foiled
Their leader remains within

They hardly guess, they cannot know
Of the light that has invaded
Ignorant of the fact that by someone so small
Their borders have been penetrated

Two heroes within and many without
The darkness has no chance
Against those with courage and hope in their hearts
Whether they carry swords or frying pans.

I somehow missed this, and

I somehow missed this, and I'm very sad because it's totally awesome!!!!  I love it!  I especially love the last line:

Two heroes within and many without

The darkness has no chance

Against those with courage and hope in their hearts

Whether they carry swords or frying pans.

The reference to Sam's ingenious weapon is great. :D

I always liked Sam best.

I always liked Sam best.  This a great poem!  I would never have seen it if someone else hadn't commented already.
