Doors

A Poem By Keri // 1/31/2009

One day I was walking along
I saw you standing there
Then I knew my life was changed
If only you had cared

I want your heart to be mine
For I’m already yours
I want our lives to be one
Would you open up your doors?

Open up, open up
Please let me in
If only you could love me
Your heart I’d like to win

One day, after I gave up,
You saw me standing there
Then you fell completely
But I no longer cared

Now you want what I did
And I try to ignore
Now you wish us to be one
But I have slammed my doors

And you cry…
“Open up, open up
Please let me in
C’mon won’t you love me
Your heart I need to win”

I cannot ignore your cries
Not a single one,
For the whole time I was yours
But I have tried to run

So I give myself to you
‘Cause I love you so much
Now you give yourself to me
And now our lives are such

No need to say…
“Open up, open up
Please let me in
If only you could love me
Your heart I need to win.”

I wrote this while I was at Velocity's house.
I was in a romantic mood. It's kinda rough.

Neat! :)

Wow that is really neat! I'm practically in awe of anyone who can write poems, because whenever I write any... :( They don't turn out very good...lol

Great job!
