Three Short (And Strange) Poems on Science

A Poem By LoriAnn // 4/9/2010

A paramece—
A pair of what?
A paramece—a paramece
A paramecium!
What’s an um? What’s a mece?
What’s a pair of what?
A paramece—a paramece
A parameci—
Never mind.
The Phylum Sarcodina
The Phylum Sarcodina
Is a meana
I do meana—
A meanie, mean amoeba
Is the Phylum Sarcodina
The Euglena
The Euglena
Has no spleen-a
Unlike my dog,
Whose name is Prina—
Well, her name is
Princess Prina
(But we call her Prina)
She has a spleen-a
Unlike the poor

:0) So glad I'm done with high school science...that just about killed me an I promptly forgot everything about it. Hence I have no idea what you're talking about, but it still made me smile!
