True Faith

I’m here to tell you about a person that changed my life forever. It seemed like it was going to be a regular orchestra day. Get there, wait awhile, eat lunch, sing in choir, play music, go the theory, walk around and go home. But I said on word. “Hi” I talked to the sweetest, independent girl named Hannah. You would never have thought she had a disability, and you would think that she was walking on her own. Even though she has a bone disease, and sits in a wheel chair. She seems almost free. I talked with her that day, and it about tore a hole in my heart. She talked about how she could soon take a bath! Her legs are like newborns, and her waist is resembled to a baby dolls. She told me about all her stuffed animals and toys that friends had given her. She talked about the different hospitals that she has been to. She talked like the hospitals were her 2nd home. She told me about the doctors and nurses that she had, which ones she like and didn’t, that kind of thing. But the knife that was dug the deepest into my heart was when she talked about all her surgeries. She talked about them like they were just eating dinner, or brushing your teath. It tore me apart, but also lifted me up. It showed me that the little things that I fuss over, aren’t even listed in what she’s listed for. She strongly believes in the Lord, and she told me that she thinks God has a reason for her to be disabled. This girl has faith like a mountain. That is true faith.
