Starless Night

Starless night of cold winds and grey skies,
Frozen in time where the lingering moon silently lies
Mingling with unseen stars till pale dawn
When the robust sun takes its deserved glory won.
And day will ride on precious winds of time,
Till grey dusk cries out for silence’s long awaited chime.
