Winter cold

A Poem By Maks // 3/7/2011

The night is cold and foggy,
the wind is playing a beautiful symphony
innocent snowflakes dance in circles
they all look like players from a circus
Coldness wraps itself around me
like a lover, afraid of letting me,
I struggle against it, no longer free
Not a love game, but a painful nightmare
Soon I am defeated, locked in a cold embrace
A warm smile forms on my lips
as the flow of life slowly leaves me
and I enter the world of eternal beauty.

This was wonderful. It had a chilling feel that was more than just the words. The whole thing adopted a frozen air. The analogies are beautiful and well crafted. Very good job. :)
