Wistmist-Dark Shadow

A Poem By Micheala // 3/1/2011

When shadows fade and shadows fall

Darkness creeps and rolls

The desert man made of sand cries out

“What a laugh, did you think this was a pure romance story? I mean come on.  How could I let my author write something like that? It would have no place in it for a villain like me.

“Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself.  I am Lord Salmalinzink,” the shadowy gentleman swept a sweeping bow, “Villain of my writer.”  He raised a single eyebrow and grinned.  “Let’s start this poem over again.”

When shadows fade and shadows fall

Darkness creeps and rolls

Winds whisper softly

As mist swirls across the gravestones of Radix Street...

“Hey Salmal this is not your story, out!” (The author)

He raises the eyebrow again, “Oh?”

“Like I said get out!” (The author)

He grinned evilly and sat down.  He crossed his legs and leaned back putting his hands behind his head. He blinked.

“Out now!” (The author)

“Well it doesn’t look like he’s going to move so until next time, farewell!”

This was funny. Don't you just love to hate characters like this who won't follow author's orders like they're supposed to?

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!

But he is my best character, has the best parts, and as far as dialoge goes he has a very distinctive tone.  It is most annoying.  We have a love/hate thing going on. If he even steps near a story it changs the tone to his distinctive tone, a victorian slightly steampunk thing with a hint of sherlock holmes/Arsen Lupin/Doctor Who/Johny Dep even though he started based off of Lord Voldemort.  but dispite all this if all my charctures had his flare and roundness and ease of writing stuff for I would already have my novel done.

So random but comical

LOL! LOVED THIS!!! Hehehe! He is so funny! You must write more of him!

This was a cute you-don't-see-this-everyday writting post! I loved how stubborn your villian is! He reminds me of Michael Buckley's "Puck" in "Sister's Grimm", if you haven't read that series, its really good! If you have! AWESOME! LOL!

This was totally awesome and creative!

Great job!

Write on!
