Eric Liddell’s Godly Influence | 4/25/2008 Age: 15 Status: Homeschooler Favorite word(s): grace, truth, chivalrous, soar, heather, Integrity, honor Bio: Well, as you have seen, my name is Nathanael; although most everyone calls me Nat. I am number four of eight siblings: five fun brothers and two beautiful sisters. My two older brothers ,James and Ezra, have accounts here, as well (you will find that his poetry is superior to mine). My home is located in NW Oregon. Concerning my schooling...This year, which is considered my freshman year, I am doing Algebra 2 in math, Biology for science (my favorite subject), in history I am currently studying American history-the settling of the West (Manifest Destiny), studying God's Words through Deeper Roots Education, Learning Spanish, and taking Guitar. This might seem kind of funny, me only being a freshman and all, but I have actually already decided my future career: Mission Aviation. I have even gone as far as to choose where I am going! Moody Bible Institute (the Spokane, WA campus). I just can't wait to start serving the Lord in that way! Some of my hobbies are as follows. Playing the guitar. Cooking; in the past, some of my cooking has actually made it to the State Fair! Swimming; watch out! I am very fast, and competitive. Painting/drawing (rarely do I create any real masterpieces), Reading. I LOVE to read. Some of my favorite authors are: JRR Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Brian Jacques, Bryan Davis, and I used to like Erin Hunter, until I discovered some disturbing things about her beliefs (I still enjoy her books though). Favorite books/series are: The Hobbit, The Lord Of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Out of the Silent Planet, The Screwtape Letters, the Redwall series, the Flying Dutchman series, Dragons in Our Midst, the Warriors series + the New Prophesy Warriors series, Rolf and the Viking Bow, Kidnapped, and many, many others. Other Hobbies are: hiking, photography, and my most favorite; FISHING! I also like to listen to music. I do not listen to any form of "rock" whatsoever! I do listen to Classical (not so much opera), Bluegrass, and best of all Celtic. Lastly , here are some interesting facts about myself: I collect all sorts of hats. I like to put on different accents (Scottish, Irish, Russian, Spanish, etc.). My two favorite animals are the Cheetah, and the North American Mountain Goat. My favorite color is green. My favorite hymn is This is Our Fathers World. My time for the 500 freestyle is 7:46.32. My hobbit name is Falco Hardbottle. For now, this is all I shall say. Nathanael |
