Who am I?

I am a twenty-something homeschool 'graduate'. I am an autodidact, a life long learner. I am a country girl from western Canada--but cities are buried in my bones. I will always love the city. I have lived in England, worked at a democratic free school, and travelled around visiting other alternative schools. I'm passionate about education. I love poetry...Raymond Carver, Emily Dickinson, Emily Bronte, Naomi Shihab Nye. I love to read. I love working with children. I teach drama, I play with kids every day. I'm getting my degree in Applied Drama, and another degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. In short...I am an artist, a student and a kind of entrepreneur.
