I Need Glasses

A Poem By SURPRISINGPERSON // 12/24/2018

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord;
Open the eyes of my heart,
To see Your mercy and Your grace,
See the beauty of your face...

Hey, what's this?
My eyes are clouded by a mist!
Even when my eyes are open,
I still can't see your light.

Please give me glasses, Lord;
Spiritual glasses so I can see
Your mercy and Your grace,
See the beauty of your face.

C.H. Spurgeon - "God’s mercy is so great that you may sooner drain the sea of its water, or deprive the sun of its light, or make space too narrow, than diminish the great mercy of God. "

Love!

This is beautiful. <3 The title is indeed very creative!! It perfectly annunciates the poem, too. I love this.
