You hide behind a facade of indifference
Your face is shadowed, though not by darkness You lay beneath your blanket of lies A shield to protect you from Truth's cunning edge You belittled everyone you have ever known And you wonder why you now dwell alone You are deemed nothing more then a pariah in this unfeeling generation Life does not leave room for alteration |
