The Doohinkles Plan a Vacation

Fiction By Tori // 2/24/2009

Story #3 with the help of my sister...

MR DOOHINKLE:Where shall we go on vacation?

MRS DOOHINKLE:Who knows. Maybe we can go to Ouagadougou. I love that place.

MR DOOHINKLE:Ever been there?

MRS DOOHINKLE:No, of course not. Who wants to go there?

MR DOOHINKLE:Maybe it is inhabited with rare jumping hyenas.

MRS DOOHINKLE:I've always wanted to see a purple pancake. Can we?

MR DOOHINKLE:Well if you can find them. I personally want to find the smallest stuffed duck in London.

MRS DOOHINKLE:Oh dear, here comes Fred. I wonder what crazy ideas he will come up with today.

MR DOOHINKLE:Like yesterday, he wanted to take the bus to school.

MRS DOOHINKLE:How very odd.

MR DOOHINKLE:Only sensible people ride the bus.

MR DOOHINKLE:I know where we are vacationing to.

FRED: Are we vacationing?

MRS DOOHINKLE: Keep up with the times, sweetie. Of course we are. Your father has even promised to take us iceburg shopping.

MR DOOHINKLE:Yes, well. We are vacationing to...

FRED: France, France, France...

MRS DOOHINKLE: Splendid! Never been that far away in our lives!

FRED: Yeah woohoo.

MRS DOOHINKLE: Honey, be happy for your father. He finally has his head on straight.

FRED: Does he? I never noticed.

MR DOOHINKLE: Of course I do. That's how I know that everyone should be afraid of spoons.

MRS DOOHINKLE: Lets go on a vacation! Honey, should I dye my hair for the event?

The End
